Testimonials About Paula Beltgens

Paula has a unique set of qualifications and skills that make her an ideal coach.  She has a wealth of personal work experience, giving her a broad perspective on organizational and interpersonal issues.  Paula has both studied and taught leadership and MBA courses at Royal Roads Univesity, and continues to expand her knowledge and skills by learning in both academic and non-academic environments.  I believe that this holistic knowledge base and life experience enables Paula to provide her clients with a range of thoughts and ideas that both challenge and inspire possibilities and potential. Her compassionate and thoughtful listening skills and ability to question my issues and concerns in a safe and non-threatening manner, have empowered me to face obstacles and situations with clarity and resolve.

I had the opportunity to consult with Paula on a one day intervention for a fourteen member IT team. The System Delivery Management Team had been together for several months and was experiencing conflict and an inability to move forward on decisions within the team. Paula’s expertise and familiarity with the IT culture enabled us to create appropriate exercises and address the issues in  the short time frame we had to work with.

It is rare that you find someone like Paula that has an excellent knowledge and command of Information Technology, coupled with a natural and skilled ability to motivate and facilitate IT training to youth and various groups of minorities, regardless of their level or ability.

I have known Paula as a colleague and friend for 10 years now. One of the things I especially appreciate about Paula is her ability to teach. She is able to translate complicated computer programs in such a way that the practical use of these complex applications are accessible to a wide range  of people and skills. She is an enthusiastic teacher and her continuing desire to learn is contagious to all those around her. She shares all that she has with her students and coworkers in a very thoughtful and personal way. I am privileged to have worked with her and look forward to further work in the future.
